You know what you're looking for, but often it's a hassle to get there. Your time is precious. In this age of apps and dismediation, there is a plethora of useful tools specialised for certain tasks, but this means we need to use a lot of tools in our workday.
Context switching between your core work and navigating this complex web is non-trivial and hurts your productivity. To get to a document, you need to think about what to search for, and you might not remember where the document is stored, so will have to go through that cognitive leap of working that out first, so you can be in the right tool to do the right search to find the right document.
You might do little things to help your work productivity. You're famililar with having bookmarks to your most used services. But you don't have bookmarks for everything, not for every document you might need and the document you now need you thought you didn't.
You might use a supposed all-encompassing search tool to search across a number of services. But enterprise search today only goes so far. Current enterprise search solutions don't always cover all the services you use, so it can't be universal. It's slower than you like. You type, you search, you wait, you get a page (or pages) of results to go through, and you hope to find the result you're looking for.

You've come to know the speed of launching websites in Epi. Well this extends to the apps and systems you use every day, for work and for play.
With just their name, you can call up files, emails, contacts, records and knowledge in your favourite apps and services.
Security and privacy are paramount
We don't see user passwords. We don't request them, we don't want them, and we can't get them!
A service can be authorised with our App Connections system which uses industry standard protocols — OpenID Connect and OAuth 2. App Connections is a hardened authorisation system to further protect your data, strengthening OpenID Connect and OAuth 2 beyond standard recommendations.
Service authorisations can also use key and token authentication with bespoke systems and tailored integrations. User passwords are not used or stored, and tokens can be revoked and rotated as needed.
With our trust engine, when you launch a work document from Epi, you know you're in the official third party service so you can be confident of strong protection from phishing. We can also integrate within selected services to provide Epi trust and phishing protection on the platform you're using, like Outlook and Gmail, so you can get trust visibility and phishing defence in the services you use every day.
